News, weather, and sports (walking, running, skating, cycling), along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.
It was just insanely nice this morning. So no skating, no running, only strolling and taking pictures.
Absolutely love these photos! What an excellent inducement to turn off the monitor and go outside . . .
A brand new map of the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway, including major roadways and connecting trails that lead to and from the Bikeway, has been published by the Bicycle Advisory Committees of Arlington, Bedford, and Lexington under a grant from the Department of Conservation and Recreation and through donations from VistaPrint and the Friends of Lexington Bikeways. The free map also includes information about points of interest along the 10-mile bikeway and maps of each town center, a list of bike trails beyond the Bikeway, and guidelines for users.Russ Brami, of http://SnowyOwlMaps.com, designed the map, and Peggy Enders, chair of the Lexington Bicycle Advisory Committee, managed the project on behalf of the three towns.Copies of the map are available at public buildings in the three Bikeway towns, or you can download it at http://www.minutemanbikeway.org.
