People who look familiar are more likely to get a greeting. Only drivers have reacted badly, and that's only when my greeting is "RED LIGHT, &*%$! BASTARD." Drivers who stop get a friendly wave. They like that.

Beyond the usual collection of trail users, I've also seen people on a Trikke, on an adult tricycle, on a recumbent tricycle, carrying groceries with a yoke, and carrying a bindlestiff like a cartoon hobo. I've never seen a skateboarding dog, though.Trail Skaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04268705236842731357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989180695204628343.post-10860466676087738222007-06-24T06:21:00.000-05:002007-06-24T06:21:00.000-05:00Hello fellow inline-addict :-) I'm nowhere near so...Hello fellow inline-addict :-) I'm nowhere near so organized as yourself about my skating schedule but I'm also a regular on the Minuteman, about 4x/week...I'm the girl with the tribal band on my leg...passing you (just kidding). I've stopped saying hello to fellow skaters/bikers because it seems M***holes find this to be questionable behavior ;-/

Favorite Minuteman sightings so far: skateboarding dog (happily rolling along for about 2 hours!), redneck in suspenders...and no shirt, rollerblader with cigarette hanging from mouth, and yes the cell phone yackers are always good for a laugh! I'll have to keep an eye out for all those snapping turtles, very cool.

Enjoy the trail!!!
LidiaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
